The second wine of Château Cos d'Estournel, a Second Growth estate in the Médoc classification.
Since its first release in 1994, it has consistently been made from the same clearly identified terroir of 40-year-old vines. The wine's name, "Pagodet," is derived from the oriental-style tower that is the symbol of the château. The 2022 vintage has an exquisite balance of breadth and freshness, with lively flavors of strawberry and raspberry, sweet spices like cinnamon, and coffee contributing to its defining character.
Pagodes do Cos 2022 is an elegant, silky, approachable, and very enjoyable wine.
