This is a 100% Hokkaido wine made in Hokkaido using grapes grown in Hokkaido. It is made using only the "Zweigelt Rebe" (Austrian variety) grapes harvested in Hokkaido, a variety used exclusively for winemaking. It is characterized by a light astringency. It is an elegant and light-tasting wine. It is a very easy-to-drink red wine with a gentle mouthfeel and a berry-like aroma. As it has less tannins than Merlot, it is aged in the bottle without being aged in a wooden barrel.
