Barton & Guestier Rose d'Anjou Les Jardins de la Reine Rose
A rosé with just the right amount of sweetness and refreshing acidity , made by Bordeaux's oldest maison.
Rosé d'Anjou AC. Named after the spectacular French gardens (jardins) in the Anjou region, created by the queens of the Renaissance. Medium pink with red reflections. Gorgeous aromas of bright red fruits such as strawberries, red currants and rose petals. The attack is refreshingly acidic with aromas of red fruits such as red currants, red plums and pomegranates. Floral aromas of hibiscus and roses follow, and the sweetness of red fruits enhances the aftertaste.
AC is an abbreviation for "Appellation Contrôle", which means "Controlled Designation of Origin" in Japanese. It is a certification given by the French government to guarantee the superiority of agricultural and dairy products in France.
