The second wine of "Château Smith Haut Lafitte"
It is located in the finest corner of Pessac-Léognan, a district on the south side of Bordeaux.
The winemaking process, from the vineyard to the cellar, is the same as for the first label. It is aged for 14 months in barrels produced on-site, with 20% being new oak.
The 2022 vintage offers a nose of blackcurrant, red berries, peppermint, cherry, and hazelnut. This is followed by aromas of pepper and spice, resulting in a flavor profile that highlights freshness and structure. The tannins are fine and simultaneously refreshing.
