This authentic shochu is distilled using the sake lees of the sake "Yukino Mayu." You can enjoy the umami and sweetness of the rice, as well as the fresh ginjo aroma.
The sake lees of "Yukino Mayu," which are intentionally not completely extracted during the pressing process, retain the umami, sweetness, and fresh ginjo aroma of the rice. By quickly distilling these lees, the resulting "Authentic Shochu Yukino Mayu" is characterized by its elegantly spreading ginjo aroma, the sweetness and umami of the rice, and its soft mouthfeel.
Hot water is recommended in winter. It's also delicious with water, on the rocks, or with soda.
