Pleasure Pork (Hida Takayama PLEASURE PORK) is an original brand of pork produced in Hida Takayama, Gifu Prefecture. It is characterized by its good balance of fat and lean meat, and its tender and juicy flavor.

Pleasure Pork is a germ-free pig that is not treated with antibiotics, synthetic antibacterial agents, or deworming agents from the time it is born until it is shipped. We are committed to keeping diseases out of the farm and operate with the health of the pigs as our top priority.

<We are also particular about the feed we use.>
To enhance the umami component "oleic acid," the cattle are fattened using feed that utilizes EM (Effective Microorganisms) on a diet of barley and brown rice for animal feed.
*EM is a multipurpose microbial material that uses lactic acid bacteria, yeast, and photosynthetic bacteria as its base, creating a blend of safe and beneficial microorganisms.

This is our original pork, made with a unique blend of rare Berkshire pork, known for its excellent meat quality, minimal odor, clean fat, and superior flavor. Our ham and sausages are also manufactured in a clean, sterile room with strict hygiene control.
