Pemartin
Sherry has been loved in Andalusia for over 200 years
The origin of Pemartin dates back to José Pemartin y Cía, founded in 1810.
After the recapture of Jerez by the Christian country's land restoration movement (Reconquista) in 1264, Mr. Pemartin was appointed as the Cavalry Knight. Since then, the Pemartin family has been engaged in the vine cultivation and winemaking practiced in Jerez by their descendants, and in 1810, sherry brewing began in earnest as Pemartin.
In 1897, Sandemann entered the Sherry business, and Pemartin became a subsidiary of Sandemann, but later the other brothers of the family took over the business.
After that, he worked for Lumasa, Bodegas Internacionales, and Federico Paternina, and now he continues to make high-quality sherry using traditional traditional methods, under the control of Bodegas y Viñedos Díez Mérito.
