What is "Fermented Restaurant Kamoshika"?
With the theme of "Bringing fermented foods back to the kitchen," we operate a restaurant and market specializing in fermented foods in Kyoto Prefecture.
The cafeteria offers meals and sweets incorporating fermented foods, while the market sells original fermented products such as koji natto and rice bran dipping sauce, as well as a selection of fermented foods from around the country.
This product is a set of three of Kamoshika's most popular classic items. You can enjoy each item individually, or you can add dressing or chili oil to the koji natto to change up the flavor.
<Set contents>
■ Koji natto: Koji is added to natto to increase its flavor and nutritional value. With a rich, creamy taste, it can be served on rice or tofu, on crispy tofu, or on natto cheese toast. No cooking is required, so it can be enjoyed as is, and it is great as a main dish or as a natto sauce.
■Brown rice amazake dressing: Made using only plant-based ingredients. Made with homemade brown rice amazake, domestic onions, and Kyoto vinegar, it has a rich, creamy flavor. It can be used like tartar sauce and goes great with raw and steamed vegetables, as well as fried chicken and horse mackerel.
■ Amazake chili oil: Chili oil with homemade amazake added. Spices and sesame oil give it a light aroma, and it is not too spicy. No garlic or salt is used. It has a refined and gorgeous aroma, and just adding a spoonful will instantly elevate your dish to a more gorgeous level. The spices at the bottom can also be used in fried rice and stir-fried dishes.
