"Yobuko squid" from Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, is famous throughout Japan. The reason for its deliciousness lies in the topography of Yobuko Bay and its clean seawater. In addition to Kabeshima Island to the north acting as a breakwater, the tidal currents within the bay ensure that nutrient-rich, clean seawater constantly flows into the bay without stagnation. We deliver Yobuko's swordtip squid and Japanese flying squid, caught in this blessed environment, as live sashimi and whole sashimi. After enjoying the sashimi, we recommend making tempura with the tentacles and ears.
