KWV Cathedral Cellar Shiraz Red
Fruits such as dark cherry and plums, and scents such as white pepper
A glossy, dark ruby color. It smells like white pepper and anise along with fruits such as dark cherry and plum. The mouth is soft. While giving it a condensed fruity flavor, the silky tannins create an overall smoothness. The barrel and fruit are well balanced, giving it a sophisticated impression.
Although 100% Laz varieties are blended with grapes with multiple different terroirs, the aroma and taste are given a depth, depth and complexity.
It is fermented for 2 days in low temperature, 7 days in alcohol, then malolactic fermentation, and aged for 18 months in a 300L barrel. The new barrel ratio is 35%, with 95% being French oak and 5% being American oak.
