Made from 100% Merlot grapes harvested in Hokkaido. A medium-light finish with a good balance between the red fruit acidity characteristic of Hokkaido Merlot and the smooth tannins unique to barrel aging. A bright garnet color with orange undertones, it has an elegant vanilla aroma from French barrels and a fruity aroma reminiscent of blackberries and dried plums. The soft tannins from barrel aging and the clean acidity characteristic of a cool climate make it a great match for Japanese cuisine. Bronze Award at the 2022 Competition
