Introducing the history and lineup of Kokubu's corned beef for over 70 years since the start of sales
Kokubun's corned beef has a long history, with K&K corned beef (190g) being released in 1951 (Showa 26), and over the past 71 years, it has been disseminating various canned corned beef foods to the world and has continued to improve it.
Two points that remain unchanging: canned food is trapezoid
Canned corned beef is a distinctive "trapezoid," and this point remains the same since its on sale.
The reason for this isTo prevent oxidation of meat and improve storageis.
Trapezoidal cans, called pillow cans, are packed with meat from the side with a large area to remove any air from the can.
This prevents the meat from oxidizing and improves its shelf life.
Two points that will remain unchanging 2. Beef shredded meat
The contents of the corned beef are cooked and manufactured from "loose meat," which is finished by carefully loosening it from a large chunk of beef. This canned meat is soft and easy to use as a cooking ingredient.

We have developed a variety of products, including corned beef that is health-conscious, such as fat-cutting and salt-reducing types, and corned beef that goes well with rice with egg baking.
In 2022, we released a corned beef style plant-based meat that uses plant-based ingredients that are popular for soy meat, and reproduces the meat-like texture.
