The rich aroma of black fruits, represented by blackcurrants

Medoc grade 5th grade.
Cabernet Sauvignon 70%, Merlot 30%.
The vineyards are in great location, adjacent to Chateau Latour and Chateau Pichon Baron.
The Villard family acquired it in 1983, and is now run by Ms. Claire-Villard-Rurton, and is gaining popularity year by year.
It is mainly made from Cabernet Sauvignon, and produces wines with a rich aroma of black fruits, represented by black cassis.
Aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. The new barrel ratio is 40%.
