St. Tamarsh Vineers & Winery
St. Tamarsh Vineyards & Winery was founded in 2009 in the Mad district, the heart of Hungary's Tokai region, with the aim of producing unique wines, making the most of the original terroir characteristics of the land.
First Vintage was released in 2011 with wine made from carefully selected furmint grapes from various vineyards in the Murdo area.
Today, 26 vineyards supply grapes to maximize mineral characteristics.
In addition to furmint, we also focus on Haarschleveru, the second most cultivated grape variety in the Tokai region, striving to produce wines that express a deeper aromatic feel.
The company's white wines, "Murdo" and "St. Tamarsh," have received high praise in global competitions, and the production of the first vintage rose from 25,000 bottles to 300,000 bottles in 2016, and is now sold in 35 countries around the world.
